How To Set Up A Google Account on Android
Your Android smartphone
is having a Google account. Setting this up is really easy and gives you access
to your phone’s app store, allows you to back stuff up easily and lets you
transfer contacts between phones.

- Tap the Apps icon on the home screen to go to the Apps menu.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Accounts.
- Tap Add Account.
- Tap Google.
- If you have a Google account tap Existing, if not tap New.
- Enter your first and last names and tap Done.
- Enter your desired username and tap done.
- Enter and re-enter your password and tap done.
- Choose a security question from the drop down list.
- Enter the answer to your chosen security question.
- Enter an alternative recovery email address and tap done.
- Join Google+ or tap Not Now.
- Tick Web History option to turn on web history.
- Tick Keep Me Up To Date to receive news and offers from Google Play.
- Tap the right hand arrow.
- Complete authentication Captcha and tap Done.
- Tap Set Up Credit Card to enter payment details for Google Play, or tap Not Now to skip.
- Tick the box to keep the phone backed up with Google and tap the right hand arrow.
